Rabobank states that due to online ordering of groceries 20% of all supermarkets will be obsoleteby 2030. Despite that this trend is just starting it is rising fast. Powerfull internet companies have not yet investigated this market yet, but this might change fast. The shopping basket also contains consumer information that might be of interest to companies. It is not unlikely that for example Google will sell groceries below costprice to receive and sell on consumer data.
