The Harbor of Rotterdam shows a good half year result at a growth of 6,8% annually.The growth is completely due to the growth in oil trueput. (Source ANP)Dry bulk as in agribulk, coal and ore showed a decrease., where Agribulk decreased by 18,4% . Good harvests of grain and seeds in Europe have let to a lower importvolume. Furthermore the export of Soja to South -America dropped.

The harbor expects a growth of 4% due to container transport. Oil is at its max. The company continues its efforts in refinery, chemicals, LNG, Offshore and Biobased. Growth and innovation don’t come by themselves. Competition is fierce. Companies have to work hard to make a profit.
LNG transport doubbelt to 1,1 million tons in the first halve. Container transport grew 3,7%. DUe to the expected growht 50 ships which each can carry 18.000 containers are ordered.
