Young bankers at multiple Dutch banks have forecasted that Tech companies like Apple, Google and Alibaba will take over the financial-transaction-infrastructure. Over 80% see a lag of knowledge regarding new technologies at the current board. About 40% expect innovative start-ups to pressurize the complete businessmodel of banks.
The majority does not believe that the current board will enable them to compete with new technologies. OVer 60% believe that changing your bank will become as easy as changing your phone-provider.
