The first train out of China has arrived in Rotterdam

The first shipment by train containing 20 containers has arrived in Rotterdam. The long ride through Azia and Russia took 14 days which is 10 days shorter than by ship. This is a good alternative for perishable goods. During the ride the goods had to be moved between trains twice, due to the different width of track in Russia, Asia and Europe.
